She was born in West Orange, NJ, where she lived for over 50 years, to the late William and Ruth (Ploch) Ribeth. She was married in 1946 to the late Rev. Edgar C. DeBolt at the First Presbyterian Church, East Orange, where she served as a Deacon, Elder, Trustee and Director of the Community Bible School of the Oranges.

June moved with her husband to Ephrata in 1986, joining the Ephrata Church of the Brethren, where she served as Deacon, Commission Member, adult Sunday school teacher, worship leader and annual conference delegate. She was past president (1992-1993) of the Woman's Club of Ephrata and serving on its board since 1987. She was co-founder of the Walk of Hope Library at the Cancer Center of Ephrata. She was a volunteer buyer and manager of Brethren Village gift shop from 1987-2008. Since moving to Brethren Village in 2006, she served as Resident Representative to the board of directors. She was past president of the Personnel Club of New York and co-author of “A Handbook for School Secretaries.” She and her husband were avid skier and tennis players, spending time in the winter at their favorite retreat in Vail, CO. Mrs. DeBolt’s hobby in the past year was designing and creating her own wardrobe.
