Obituary for Richard E. "Dick" Cammauf

Richard E. "Dick" Cammauf, 80, of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014, at his home.

He was born in Warwick Twp., to the late LeRoy and Hattie (Birkenbine) Cammauf and was the husband of Jean (Stewart) Cammauf, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

Dick was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Ephrata. He enjoyed being a member of the Coca-Cola Collectors Club and a member of a hunting Club in Potter County. Dick was an antique dealer and had an outdoor stand at Reningers Flea Market since 1982. He attended many public sales and was known as the Coke Man and the Wooden Box Man. During his working years, Dick was a supervisor for Coca-Cola for 41 years.

In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by 3 sons, Richard E.Cammauf Jr. of Akron, Michael Cammauf of Leola, Steven Cammauf of Akron; a stepson, Robert McCoy of Ephrata; grandson, Nicholas Cammauf of Lititz; 4 brothers, Lester, Wilbur, Walter and Carl Cammauf; and a sister, Jane, wife of Russel Groff.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Emiline Klopp and Carolyn Huber; and 2 brothers, LeRoy and Herbert Cammauf.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 25, from 7 to 9 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 167 E. Main St., Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 26 at 10 am, with Pastor Henry E. Herbener officiating. Interment will take place in the Millport Union Cemetery, Warwick Township.
