Condolence: Dear Nancy and family-

I was saddened to hear of Ted's passing. I remember the days I worked for him when I was an Assistant Superintendent in EASD. Ted was always supportive and helpful to me, both professionally and personally. I will keep him in my heart with great fondness. I would join you in honoring his life but I am currently in Bethlehem. I send you warm thoughts and prayers from the Holy Land and hope that you are sustained in the love of those whose lives Ted touched.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Dr. Soistmann's passing. The family moved to Ephrata my senior year and Heather was in my class. He was my superintendent as a student that year and also as a teacher at Ephrata. He cared deeply about students, staff, and his community. Though I haven't seen him in years, my mother had gotten to know him through the Golden Years Club and spoke of him often, always in the highest regard. I loved talking to him about mountains!

Condolence: Dear Nancy, David, Heather, Kathleen and families: I was shocked a few minutes ago when I picked up The Patriot-News to read of Ted's passing. When I saw the two of you, Nancy, a year or so ago, you both looked great. May God be with you during this pain-filled time of grief on your way to the realization that Ted now rests at perfect peace. Know that you are in my heart and in my prayers.
