Obituary for Annabelle Burd (Wagner)

Annabelle  Burd (Wagner)
Annabelle Burd, 87, of Stevens, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015, at Maple Farm Nursing Home.

She was born in New Holland to the late Elroy and Anna (Bowman) Wagner and was the wife of the late Adam Wesley Burd, who passed away March 3, 2005.

Annabelle was a member of the Denver U.M. Church, Denver. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching.

Annabelle is survived by 2 sons, Roy W., husband of Sandra J. (Zimmerman) Burd of Stevens, Adam W. Burd, Jr., companion of Alicia Spencer of Reading; a daughter, Kathleen "Kathy", wife of Darrell Marks of Stevens; a niece, Sharon McLaughlin of Manheim; 9 grandchildren, Mark Burd, Angela J. Firestone, Wesley Earl Burd, Albert K. Burd, Sabrina R. Dowlin, Tabitha Dawn Mountz, Nicholas Burd, Dylan Dohn and Tyler Dohn; 16 great grandchildren; and a brother, James "Jimmy" Wagner of Delaware; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, John, Donald and Lester Wagner and an infant brother and a sister, Ida McLaughlin.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 27, from 6 to 8 pm at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. Funeral services held on Wednesday at 10 am, with Associate Chaplain Marian Harnish officiating. Interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery.
