Obituary for Marion S. Ensinger

Marion S. Ensinger, 87, of Denver, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Denver Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Mohnton to the late Parke and Brita (Wingenroth) Sweigert and was the wife of Chester R. Ensinger, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage.

She was a member of the Grace E.C. Church in Ephrata, loved bird-watching, knitting and crocheting, camping, and playing cards.

In addition to her husband, Marion is survived by 3 sons, Lonn D. Ensinger, Brian Ensinger, and Timothy Ensinger, husband of Vicki (Boyer), all of Denver, 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Marion was preceded in death by two sisters, Fern Sweigert and Eva Ann Gehr.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 25th, from 6 to 8 pm at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. An additional viewing will be held from 10 am until the time of funeral services at 11 am, on Thursday, March 26th, at the funeral home, with Pastor Phil Walck officiating. Interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery, Annex immediately following the service.
