Obituary for Jeanette Shaw
Jeanette Shaw, 59, of Ephrata, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at her residence.
She was born in Philadelphia to the late John Sr. and Eleanor (Kavetski) McKee and was the wife of Matthew Shaw.
Jeanette was a 1973 graduate of George Washington High School, Philadelphia. She was a department manager at Target retail stores. She enjoyed crafting, reading, spending time with family and loved going to the shore.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 children, Maureen Jones of Rockledge, Matthew Jones, III of Willow Grove, Katherine Jones of Ephrata; 2 grandchildren, Madelyn and Alivia Jones and a brother, William, husband of Linda McKee of Huntingdon Valley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Jones and a brother, John McKee, Jr.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 19, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata. Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in Jeanette's memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604 or the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.
