Obituary for Harold Musser High

Harold Musser  High
Harold Musser High, 63, of Reinholds, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Denver Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Denver to Anna (Musser) High of Denver and the late Lester Hoover High and was the husband of Margaret Louise (Galebach) High, with whom he would have shared 42 years of marriage on November 17th, in the faith of "Our Trust in the Lord".

Harold attended the New Beginnings Church in Ephrata as a member of the Brethren in Christ Church. He enjoyed playing guitar, caning chairs, bird watching, and listening to "Goat Roping" music.

Harold worked as a machinist for Dorma Door, Reamstown, for many years before retiring.

In addition to his mother and wife, Harold is survived by 2 sons, Kenneth H., husband of Antoinette (Gammel) High of Ephrata, and Jason N., husband of Elaine (Davis) High of Lancaster; 5 grandchildren, Anthony Gammel, Brittney Marchand, Nathan High, Charis High, and Thomas High; and 2 brothers, Elvin, husband of Suetta (Martin) High of Reinholds, and Lester Jr., husband of Anna (Burkholder) High of Denver.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015, from 6 to 8 pm and on Monday, October 5th from 9 to 10 am, at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Interment will take place in the Lincoln Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 12:30 pm, at the New Beginnings Church, 409 N. State Street, Ephrata, with Pastor Joe Hyatt officiating.

Memorial contributions in Harold's memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604 or to Roxbury Holiness Camp, 13763 Cumberland Highway, Orrstown, PA 17244.
