Obituary for Helen M. Reigel

Helen M.  Reigel
Helen M. Reigel, 91, of Akron, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

She was born in Exeter to the late William and Sadie (Price) Bressler and was the wife of the late Wilbur G. Reigel of Lehighton, PA.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, loved the Lord, gospel music and was a strong woman who prayed for all who needed it. Helen liked to travel, play bingo, shop at KMART, was very passionate about her hair and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching Family Feud.

Helen is survived by daughter, Carol, wife of Michael K. Royer of Akron; 2 grandsons, Michael G., husband of Laura Michelle Royer, Mark R. Royer; 4 great-grandchildren, Peyton Royer, Bella Royer, Matthew Royer, Bennett Royer; sister, Betty Camasso and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen is preceded in death by 2 infant children; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, at the Zion Lutheran Church, 435 Main St., Akron, followed by her funeral services at 10:30 am, with Rev. Matthew Lenahan officiating. Interment will take place on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11 am in the Lehighton Cemetery.
