Obituary for Marlene Strohm

Marlene  Strohm
Marlene Strohm, 81, of Lititz, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

She was born in Mastersonville to the late Parker and Mabel Carroll.

She was a member of the Elstonville Sportsman Association and the Reamstown Athletic Association. She loved her dog Honey Bear and western movies, especially John Wayne. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Marlene worked as a machine operator for Woodstream Corp. for 20 years and retired in 1988.

Marlene is survived by 5 children, Linda, wife of Robert Shore of Lititz, Randy, husband of Linda Strohm of Reamstown, Rick, husband of Penny Strohm of Lititz, Peggy, wife of Albert Steffy of Ephrata, John Strohm of Lititz; brother, Robert Carroll of Palmyra; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lottie G. Hornberger; 2 brothers, Charles H. Carroll and Dick Carroll.

Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in Marlene's memory may be made to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway, East Lancaster, PA 17602.
