Serena Catherine Wentzel, 71, of Reinholds, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Osceola Regional Medical Center, Kissimmee, Florida.

She was born in Millway to the late Harry and Lillian (Wartluft) Cooper and was the wife of Jack A. Wentzel, with whom she shared 52-1/2 years of marriage.

Serena enjoyed going to car shows, cooking, making jewelry, and playing bingo. She loved her family very much and always had a way of touching the hearts of others. She formerly worked for the Redcay Hat Factory.

In addition to her husband Serena is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra Hoffman of Lebanon, and Bonnie, wife of Andrew Fosgate of Reinholds; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mildred, wife of Robert Haller of Ephrata, and Laura, wife of Richard Leed of Denver.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, from 6 to 8 pm at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. A viewing will also be held on Wednesday from 9 to 10 am at the Hillside Christian Church, 3322 E.Galen Hall Rd, Reinholds, followed by funeral services at 10 am, with Pastor Shelley Lee officiating. Interment will take place in the Steinmetz Cemetery.
