Robert (Bob) N. Landis, 62, of Ephrata, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack, on Monday, May 23, 2016.

He was born in Ephrata to Marian (Stauffer) Landis and the late Luke Landis and was the husband of Lucinda A. (Yoder) Landis for 38 years.

He was a member as well as deacon at Oasis Fellowship Church.

Bob worked for Conestoga Wood Specialties for over 35+ years. He loved sports, beach vacations, playing volleyball, riding motorcycle, enjoyed politics and was a Republican committee man. Bob especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids. He was also a regular blood donor.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his 2 sons, Shawn and Austin Landis, 2 daughters, Shalyn, wife of Duncan Forbes, Amber, wife of Jeremy Shirk; 6 grandchildren, Josiah, Javan, Jayda, and Jessica Forbes, Lucas and Adrielle Shirk; a brother, Richard, husband of Sharon Landis; 2 sisters, Janet, wife of Richard Frey and Jean, wife of Irvin Boll.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016, from 6 to 8 pm, at D.O.V.E Westgate Church, 1755 W. Main Street, Ephrata. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 2 pm, at D.O.V.E Westgate Church, with Pastor Chris Leiby officiating. Interment will take place in the Metzler Mennonite Cemetery at 11 AM on the 28th.
