Obituary for Dennis L. Rhoads

Dennis L.  Rhoads
Dennis L. Rhoads, 68, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Lancaster to Norma (Grube) Rhoads of Lititz and the late Clarence Rhoads. He was the husband of Carol (Thompson) Rhoads with whom he shared 22 years of marriage.

Dennis was a factory worker and truck driver for Ritter Food Service and Bickel’s Snack Foods. He loved his Studebaker, camping and hiking.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Brad Rhoads of Manheim; 2 daughters, Kim Rhoads of Mount Joy, Kelly Rhoads of Lancaster; 3 step-daughters, Deborah Kutt of Willow Street, Patricia Abramson of Columbia, Christine, wife of Eric Haavistola of Lancaster; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers, Randy Rhoads of Lancaster, Rodney, husband of Natalie Rhoads of Lititz and a sister, Bonnie Votano of Manheim.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, Inc., Akron/Ephrata.
