Jane E. Trumbo, 79, of Ephrata, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Luther Acres.

She was born in Lewistown to the late Lester and Mabel (Bender) Murphy and was the wife of the late James Roger Trumbo who passed away in 2013.

Jane was a member of Calvary Church, Lancaster. She enjoyed music, gardening and Penn State Football. She faithfully attended all her grandsons sporting events.


Jane is survived by a daughter, Kathleen L., wife of Ronald E. Shupp of Ephrata; 3 grandsons, Matthew E. Shupp, Andrew T., husband of Courtney (Harsy) Shupp and Michael A. Shupp; a brother, Steve, husband of Jan Murphy; a sister, Helen, wife of Tom Treaster.


A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016, from 9:30 to 10 am, at the Community Bible Church, 169 E. Main St., Leola, followed by a memorial service at 10 am, with Pastor John Duty officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
