Obituary for Harlan M Martin

Harlan M. Martin, 78 of Lititz, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at home, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in West Earl Township to the Late H. Landis and Anna (Martin) Martin.
Harlan was a member of the Lime Rock Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.
He is survived by his wife Emma (Nolt) Martin. He was a farmer for 52 years. He also had worked at a local feed mill.
Surviving are 9 children; Wilma J. married to Lamar G. Lehman of Bernville, Leland N married to Ann M. Zimmerman of Lititz, Sharon E. married to J. Wilmer Horst of Landisburg, Norene N. married to Nelson R. Burkholder of Peach Bottom, Fern J. married to Ronald L. Zimmerman of Ephrata, Venetia N. married to Earl E. Horst of Newmanstown, Doris A. married to Glen H. Weaver of Newmanstown, Delores N. married to N. Arlyn Hurst of Lititz, Leonard N. married to Marian L. Frey of Lititz; 61 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 10 siblings, Vera wife of John Nolt, Liitz, Edna wife of Amos Martin, Stevens, Earl husband of Barbara (Weaver) Martin, Lebanon, Wilmer husband of Elaine (Rohrer) Martin, Lititz, Mariam Martin, Denver, Raymond husband of Mabel (Rutt) Martin, Lititz, Laverne wife of John Fox, Denver, Norma Martin, Willow Street, Anna Mae wife of Elvin Hoover, Reinholds, Erla wife of Merle Martin , Lititz; a sister-in-law, Eve Jane (Stauffer) Martin, Newmanstown,
He was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren and 2 brothers, John Elam Martin and Elvin M. Martin.
A viewing will be held on Thursday June 2, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, at the Midway Mennonite Reception Center, 210 E Lexington Rd, Lititz. Funeral services will be held at 9 am, Friday, at the Midway Mennonite Reception Center with further services at 9:30 am at the Lime Rock Mennonite Church, Penn Valley Road, Lititz, with Bishop Melvin Martin, and ministers Ray Martin, Elam Ray Martin, and Henry Horning officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
