Obituary for Dorothy M. (McQuate) Wagner

Dorothy M. (McQuate)  Wagner
Dorothy M. (McQuate) Wagner, 74, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016, at Lancashire Hall.

She was born in West Cocalico Township to the late Clifford M. and Ruth (Swartz) McQuate and was the wife of the late Donald B. Wagner who passed away in 2007.

Dorothy was a member of Grace EC Church, Ephrata,was an avid bingo player, and a Nascar fan of #99 Carl Edwards.

She had worked for Cocalico Biological in Stevens.

Dorothy is survived by a son, Clifford L. Walter of Reinholds, a daughter, Betty Jo, wife of Laverne Redcay of Reinholds; 3 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Paul McQuate of Annville and Edwin McQuate of Newmanstown; 4 sisters, Carol Ann Walters of Lancaster, Janet Elliot of Lebanon, Mary Walter of Reinholds, and Nancy Ruoss of Lebanon; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian G. Walter.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, from 9:30 to 11:00 am, at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am, with Pastor Philip Walck officiating. Interment will take place in the Schaefferstown Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Dorothy's memory may be made to Grace EC Church, 131 Terrace Avenue, Ephrata, PA 17522.
