Christopher "Chip" K. Leasure, 45, of Denver, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedarcrest in Allentown.

He was born in Youngstown, OH to the late Charles L. and Lana (Putt) Leasure and was the husband of Dianne L. (Caylor) Leasure, with whom he shared 19 years of marriage on July 19th.

Chip was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan of the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates, and was also a marathon runner. He enjoyed people and touched many lives. He also enjoyed traveling with his family. He was a 1989 graduate of Purchase Line High School, attended the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Triangle Tech School in DuBois. He had been employed for the last 22 years with B.J. Baldwin Electric.

In addition to his wife, Chip is survived by 2 daughters, Bailey C. and Jordan M. Leasure, both at home; 2 brothers, Thomas J., husband of Becky (Grove) Leasure of Adamstown, and Russell L. Leasure of Akron; Uncle Russell Putt of Youngstown, OH, and numerous other aunts and uncles; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; mother-in-law, Janet and Bud Hill of Greensburg, father-in-law, Robert and Fran Caylor of Indiana, PA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kim and Greg Coleman of Homer City, Traci and Nick Kachur of Pittsburgh, Bob and Angela Caylor of Homer City, and Michelle Caylor of Drexel Hill; He also leaves behind his best dog, Jake.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Russell and Nina Lucille Putt, and paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Rosella Leasure.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, and on Monday, from 10 to 11 am, at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am. Casual Steelers attire is requested. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
