Laura Marie Zimmerman, 79, of Denver, formerly of Lititz, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Cocalico Christian Home.

She was born in East Earl to the late Reuben W. and Lena M. (Martin) Martin and was the wife of the late Paul S. Zimmerman.

She was a member of Meadow Valley Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conf.).

Laura was a homemaker.

Laura is survived by 4 children, Glenn M., husband of Linda (Rutt) Zimmerman of Lititz, Marlin M., husband of Rachel (Martin) Zimmerman of Phelps, NY, Elaine M., wife of Nevin R. Horning of Denver, Paul S., Jr., husband of Janice (Zimmerman) Zimmerman of Lititz; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ella Mae, wife of the late Paul Martin of Lewisburg, and Lydia, wife of Levi Martin of Mifflinburg.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Lowell M. Zimmerman; a brother, Edwin M. Martin and a sister, Catherine Reiff.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, at the Midway Mennonite Reception Center, 210 Lexington Road, Lititz. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 9 AM at the Midway Mennonite Reception Center, with further services at 9:30 am at the Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, 200 Meadow Valley Rd., Ephrata, with Bishop Lester B. Martin officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
