Donald "Donnie" Weidman, 63, of Akron, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at home.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Calvin and Ruth (Ruhl) Weidman and was the husband of Janie (Musser) Weidman with whom he shared more than 42 years of marriage.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Donald was a deliveryman and route manager for Ephrata Diamond Spring Water for many years, then for Tom Sturgis in Lititz for over 15 years. He was a loving husband and father who was always there for his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and vacationing with the entire family in Florida and on cruises to the Caribbean.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by a son, Daniel, husband of Antonella Weidman of Lititz; a daughter, Mindy, wife of Remo Duchi of NJ; 2 grandchildren, Zoey Jane and Brady Daniel Weidman; a brother, Calvin, husband of Wendy Weidman of Hahnstown and a sister, Debbie Weidman of Ephrata.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dale Weidman.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 12 to 1 PM, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 N. Ninth Street, Akron, followed by funeral services at 1 PM with Pastor Henry Herbner officiating.
