Susan F. Turner, 89, of Ephrata, passed away peacefully on January 19, at Maple Farm Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the past 2 years.

Susan was married to the late Harvey Turner Jr. for 40 years before his passing in 1985.

Born April 9, 1927, in Blue Ball, she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Bauder) Rauser.

Susan enjoyed working; she worked 34 years for the Terry Mfg. Company. In her later years she worked part time at various local restaurants, eventually retiring from Bright's Restaurant at the age of 78. Susan enjoyed gardening, flea markets, yard sales, dining out and her cats.

She is survived by her sons, Harvey, Barry and Terry all of Ephrata; daughters Linda and Lana of Denver; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Troy; a grandson Frederick;
brothers John, Henry, Samuel and a sister, Bertha.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Maple Farm for keeping Mom healthy and happy these past 2 years.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, January 24, 2017 at Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church, Ave. Ephrata.

Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata.
