Helmut Neufeld, Jr.,87, of Lititz, formerly of Akron, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Landis Homes.

He was born in Germany to the late Helmut, Sr. and Trude (Franzen) Neufeld and was the husband of Lila (Fast) Neufeld.

He was a member of Forest Hills Mennonite Church.

Helmut was a machine operator.

In addition to his wife, Helmut is survived by a brother, Hans Peter Neufeld of Akron.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Else Shirk and Gertrude Habegger.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 1 PM at the West Bethany Chapel, Landis Homes, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, with Chaplain Donna Shank officiating. Interment will be private the convenience of the family.
