Obituary for Donald M. Stout

Donald M. Stout, 72, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Philadelphia to the late Donald R. Stout and Ann (Carroll) Kilcoyne and was the husband of Sandra M. (Murray) Stout with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

He was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Donald was the owner and CEO of Keystone Pallet and Lumber Co, which was founded in 1977, until his retirement in 2009.

Donald was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and on the board of directors for the Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service Center for over 20 years

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by 2 sons, Donald M. Jr., husband of Michelle Stout of Mohnton, Michael S., husband of Mary Gallagher Stout of Stafford, VA; 4 grandchildren, Drew, Erin, Kylie and Ryan; a great-granddaughter, Madison; 2 half-brothers , Bill Stout, John Stout and 2 sisters, Maureen Toal, Carolann Aufiero.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Peggy Ierovante.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebration will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11AM at Our Mother of Perpetual Help, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata, PA 17522, with Father John McLoughlin C.SS.R. as celebrant. Final commendation and farewell will be private.

Memorial contributions in Donald's memory may be made to Playwicki Farm Foundation, 1500 Desire Avenue, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053.
