Obituary for Ralph N. Weaver

Ralph N. Weaver, 75, of Reading, entered into rest unexpectedly on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Hinkletown, he was the son of the late Harry R. and Anna (Nolt) Weaver and was the husband of Erla M. (Coble) Weaver, the couple would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on May 20th.

Mr. Weaver was a member of the Mohn’s Hill E.C. Church, Reading. He liked riding motorcycle, and was a member of the Happy Pappys motorcycling group. Ralph enjoyed snowmobiling and fourwheeling and traveling with family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

For 19 years, he and his wife owned and operated the former Weaver's Furniture Store, which was a mile north of Adamstown. They then operated Weaver's Antique Mall, for 16 years, in the same location until their retirement.

In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived his daughter, Connie, wife of Brian Dautrich of Mohnton; grandchildren, Rachael Dautrich and Jeremy Dautrich; a sister, Annabelle Zook of Ephrata; and a half-brother, Raymond H. Weaver of Ephrata.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Weaver.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. An additional viewing will be held on Wednesday, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, at the Mohn’s Hill E.C. Church, 708 Mohn’s Hill Road, Reading, PA where a service will held at 10:00 am with Pastor Richard Emery officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown, PA.
