Obituary for Kenneth L. Wenrich

Kenneth L. Wenrich, 66, of Poplar St. Denver, was called home to be with the Heavenly Father and join his beloved daughter, Stephanie, and son, Jason, on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at his home. He rests in peace after his struggle with cancer.

He was born July 15, 1948 in West Reading to Ada (Miller) Wenrich Kline and the late Clair Wenrich.

He had been a former member of Reamstown Church of God; and a member of ABATE of PA, where he held various offices. He loved riding and traveling on his Harley motorcycle, enjoyed gardening, and was an avid hunter. He also loved spending time with his 4 Airdale Terriers.

His kind and generous nature will live in the hearts of his family and friends. The family wishes to thank the Ephrata Cancer Center and the kind doctors and nurses that cared for him. Also, thanks to the Reamstown Church of God for their prayers and kind thoughts.

Kenneth was employed with High Concrete for the past 46 years as a company representative.

Kenneth is survived by his mother, Ada (Miller) Wenrich Kline of Ephrata; wife, Barbara C. (Gay) Wenrich, whom he married on July 15, 1967; 2 brothers, Jeffery, husband of Sue (Weaver) Wenrich of Ephrata, and Kerry, husband of Donna (Mollenkopt) Wenrich of Millerten, PA; 3 nieces and 2 nephews; 3 grandsons, Bradley Buck, Kilyan Beck, and Kolten Beck; and a great-granddaughter, Shelby Stephanie Buck.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason Edward Wenrich in 2000, and a daughter, Stephanie Beck in 2008.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014, from 6 pm to 8 pm and also on Friday from 9 to 10 am at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver, where funeral services will follow at 10:00 am, with Pastor Arthur T. Karrick officiating. Interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery, Annex.

If desired memorial contributions in Kenneth's memory may be made to Ephrata Cancer Center, 460 North Reading Road, Ephrata, PA 17522.
