Brian "Pork" E. Shenk, 65, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Ephrata Community Hospital.
He was born in Lancaster to the late Fred E. Shenk and Helen I. (Runk) Shenk, of Brunnerville. He was the husband of Carol (Weaver) Shenk with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.
He worked for Warwick and Boose Aluminum Foundries. Pork enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking long drives. He was an avid motorcycle rider. He loved visiting family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Jessica (Shenk) Cooper of Denver; step son, Jon M. Leeking of Delaware; 2 granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Mariah; sister, Brenda, wife of Elwood Gardner of Brunnerville; and brother, Barry, husband of Beth Runk of Lititz.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 26, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata. At the request of family no funeral service will be held.
