Obituary for George H. Reider
George H. Reider, 56, of Denver, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.
He was born in Ephrata to the late George H. Sweigart, Sr. and Mary (Bickhart) Reider and was the husband of Mary G. (Nixdorf) Reider.
He attended Grace Point Church of the Nazarene.
George was a maintenance operator for Polymar. He was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his wife, George is survived by 2 sons, Dustin C., husband of Mayericka Reider of NC, Brandon B. Reider of AZ; 2 grandchildren, Katherine C. Reider, Gavin Hendrix; 3 brothers, Richard Reider, Harry Reider, John Reider; 7 sisters, Evelyn Stover, Marlene Zechman, Jane Hauer, Irene Benn, Bessie Reider, Grace Shepler, Elva Horning and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ron Robert Reider.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016, 3 PM at the Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 110 Durlach Road, Ephrata, with Pastors Rocky Hambrich and Ken Higginbotham officiating.
Memorial contributions in George's memory may be made to Stradling Funeral Homes, Inc., P O Box 92, Ephrata, PA 17522, to help with funeral expenses.
