Carl P. Amann, 74, of East Earl, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Philadelphia to the late Carl and Violet (Gillick) Amann and was the husband of Judie A. (Gross) Amann.

Carl worked in telecommunication for Mobil Oil Corp. He was an avid reader, especially on the beach with a good drink.

In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by 3 children, Joseph C., husband of Gina Amann, and their children, Olivia and Cole, of Downingtown, Keith P., husband of Kate Amann, and their children, Jacqueline and Ryan, of Downingtown, Megan E., wife of Timothy Hensley, and their children, Ryan and Sarah, of Ephrata and 2 sisters, Vickie, wife of the late Philip Leberher of FL and Carol, wife of the late Rocco Boccuti of Philadelphia.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, from 1 to 2 PM at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 2 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
