Evelyn Slaski of Lititz, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at Landis Homes where she resided since 2002.

She was born in Pittsburgh to the late Lee and Sue (Petrarca) Zona and was the wife of the late Herman C. Slaski with whom she shared 57 years of marriage before he went home to be with the Lord in 2003.

Evelyn was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Ephrata. She was a member of the Ephrata Women’s Club and enjoyed playing bridge, reading and traveling.

She is survived by her two daughters, Corinne, wife of Jim Gertscher of Springfield, VA, Marilyn Tagert of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren, Tage, husband of Diana, Nicole, wife of Pete, Jacqueline, wife of Norm, Angela, Diana and Lauren; three great-grandchildren, Chase, Kacey and Triston.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Ann Laris.

Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, on Thursday, February 26, at 11 am, at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 320 Church Ave., Ephrata with The Rev. Father John McLoughlin C.SS.R. as celebrant. There will be no viewing. Final Commendation and Farewell will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata.
