The dictionary defines a neighbor as "a person who shows kindliness or helpfulness toward his fellow humans." This was George to a tee. George was a true neighbor. We've had the good fortune to live across the street from George for the past 14 years, and will always remember with great appreciation the way he would not hesitate to help his neighbors in any way, from helping us to fix a lawnmower, to lending a tool, to snowblowing the sidewalks up the street. We will miss his genuine friendliness, warm soul, and his smiles and waves from his chair on the front porch. Sincere sympathies to Susan, girls and other loved ones.
