Another time Bill assigned three of us to install some equipment in the Lititz Central Office. The installation required drilling several holes in pieces of steel angle. Bill gave us a new drill for the job. Usually that was an easy task, but this time we couldn’t get the drill bit to do much more than scratch the surface of the metal. After working at this for a couple of days, Bill came to Lititz to see what was wrong. We showed him the drill and the metal we were trying to put the holes in. He started the drill, took one look at it and shut it off in disgust. We were running the drill in reverse!
