Message: Bill will be missed by so many. To know him was to love him. His bubbly personality, contagious smile, he was just plain fun! I (Nancy) will never forget when Bobbie and I were producing a TV spot for Ephrata National Bank, ENB, and we needed a couple to talk about how much they enjoyed banking there. Both Helen and Bill were perfect for the spot. I’m not sure which one smiled the most, their eyes twinkling the entire time. Bill made what will always be for me a “famous” TV commercial copy-line. Totally spontaneously he said – “I think I like the people (employees) more than the money!” We all howled with laughter and needless to say that is a spot we used over and over again; TV and radio. For us, he was truly a star, both he and Helen! For all the joy he brought – how thankful we are and so blessed to have known such a great husband, father and all around terrific guy!
